WIM Selected for KAIST DIPS 2026 Robotics Track (Apr 2026)
WIM (CEO Woojin Jun), an industrial robot control platform developer, has been selected for the robotics track of the 2026 Disruptive Innovation in Plus Stage (DIPS) Startup Project, the company announced on April 23. Organized by the KAIST Global Commercialization Center (KAIST GCC), the program will support a total of 84 deep-tech startups, including 33 newly selected companies in the robotics and advanced manufacturing fields.
The DIPS Startup Project is a national deep-tech startup development initiative led by the Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups, targeting six strategic industries and twelve emerging technology sectors. The robotics and advanced manufacturing track, operated by KAIST GCC, provides commercialization funding, R&D linkage with government programs, and preferred treatment in policy financing and technology guarantees for selected companies.
WIM was chosen based on its technical competitiveness and commercialization potential in industrial robot control. KAIST GCC plans to leverage its infrastructure and global network to support each selected company's stage-by-stage growth and entry into overseas markets.
WIM's W-RC (WIM Robot Controller) is an industrial robot integrated controller built on NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX, delivering 1 ms (1 kHz) real-time control and 275 TOPS (INT8) edge AI inference in a single box. Combined with the WIMPACK software platform, the system provides an integrated intelligent robot control solution that unifies hardware control and AI inference.
