WIM Receives MSS Regional Administrator Commendation at Daegu-Gyeongbuk Startup Festival (Sep 2025)

WIM received a Commendation from the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Administrator of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) at the 2025 Daegu-Gyeongbuk Startup Festival, held in Daegu in September 2025.

The festival is an annual event connecting promising startups from the Daegu and Gyeongbuk region with investors and institutions. Jointly hosted by MSS regional offices, the program selects local companies with standout technology, commercial traction, and growth potential for recognition. This year's judging was organized around three criteria: technological innovation, commercial viability, and contribution to the regional economy.

Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Daegu, WIM develops the WIM Robot Controller and the PLEM robot control software platform. Proof-of-concept projects with local industrial partners, regional hiring, and collaboration with Daegu-based research institutions factored into the regional-contribution assessment.

The commendation recognizes WIM as one of the region's representative deep-tech companies. WIM plans to continue expanding within the Daegu-Gyeongbuk ecosystem in parallel with preparations for overseas market entry in 2026.

Founded in 2023, WIM is an AI robot control platform company. Its NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX-based WIM Robot Controller and PLEM software enable a unified control layer spanning cobots, 6-axis industrial arms, and humanoid robots.
