WIM Selected for Plug and Play × Daegu Buk-gu Global Unicorn Program (Jul 2025)

WIM was selected in July 2025 for the Global Unicorn Startup Support Program, hosted by Daegu Buk-gu District and operated by Plug and Play Korea.

The program targets youth-founded startups in Daegu's Buk-gu district with a focus on overseas market entry and fundraising. The current cohort selected approximately seven companies, with Plug and Play Korea responsible for day-to-day operations and global network connections. Plug and Play is a startup support organization headquartered in Silicon Valley and has contributed to more than 30 unicorn companies, including PayPal and Dropbox.

Selected companies connect to Plug and Play's global network. Core support areas include matching with overseas investors and manufacturing or distribution partners, international exhibition support, global insight seminars, and mentoring. Headquartered in Daegu's Buk-gu district, WIM will use the program to explore international reference paths for the WIM Robot Controller and the PLEM software platform.

WIM targets a first overseas pilot project in the first half of 2026 and will use this program as core leverage for international market preparation.

WIM is a Korean B2B robotics company developing WIM Robot Controller — an NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX-based AI robot controller — and PLEM, a robot control software platform. The single-box architecture delivers 1ms (1kHz) real-time control with 275 TOPS (INT8) edge AI compute.
