WIM Selected for MSS Micro DIPS - AX Startup Development (Apr 2025)

WIM was selected in April 2025 for the Micro DIPS - AX Startup Development track, part of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) 2025 "Super-Gap Startup 1000+ Project."

Micro DIPS supports collaboration between AI startups and demand companies. This year, 15 companies were selected. The program covers three support pillars: KRW 80 million in joint project funding; field validation of AI technologies, products, and services; and new customer development support. Selected companies also receive preferential eligibility for MSS follow-on programs, including DIPS and Beyond DIPS.

WIM will apply the selection to expand industrial field validation of the WIM Robot Controller and the PLEM robot control software platform. Its single-box architecture — handling real-time control and edge AI inference simultaneously — has drawn demand-company interest for reducing communication latency, system complexity, and build cost associated with the external PC and GPU configurations typical of existing automation deployments.

Using pilot partnerships secured through Micro DIPS, WIM plans to expand its industrial reference base and pursue entry into Beyond DIPS follow-on programs in parallel.

WIM develops the WIM Robot Controller, an AI robot controller for industrial automation, and PLEM, a robot control software platform. The company is an NVIDIA Inception partner and a member of the K-Humanoid Alliance led by Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
