WIM Selected for MSIT Innovation Premier 1000, First Batch (May 2025)

WIM was included in the first batch of Innovation Premier 1000, the innovation company support program led by Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT), in May 2025. The first batch selected 509 companies nationwide.

Innovation Premier 1000 is an integrated support program operated jointly by 13 ministries, including the Financial Services Commission and MSIT. Selected companies receive financial and non-financial support through December 31, 2026. Financial support covers tailored programs from policy finance institutions, including expanded loan and guarantee limits and preferential interest rates. Non-financial support includes IR consulting, additional scoring on R&D grants, and priority eligibility for government programs related to overseas expansion.

WIM has built its business around the WIM Robot Controller and the PLEM robot control software platform. Its single-box architecture — delivering 1ms (1kHz) real-time control and 275 TOPS (INT8) edge AI compute — was understood to be a key evaluation point in the selection. WIM plans to leverage the program for stable operating capital through policy finance linkage and to pursue additional public-sector projects using the R&D scoring advantage.

The selection reflects recognition of WIM's technology and commercial viability against criteria shared across multiple ministries.
